Our mission: We emphasize the balanced development of students in the six areas of ethics, intellect, physique, social skills, aesthetics, and spirituality. Classroom teaching model:

The school has a simple culture and is a practical and professional team. The school focuses on cultivating students' sense of responsibility and strengthening their self-reflection ability, allowing students to learn from service, realizing the spirit of the school motto "not to serve others, but to serve others", and cultivating students' knowledge of nationalism, moral education and national education.

Learning and Teaching Strategies :

The "Life-wide Outdoor Learning Day and Cross-curricular Thematic Learning" is organized every school year to develop students' generic skills and enrich their learning experience through various unique learning activities. Gifted Education and School-based Remedial Programs are also organized to cater for the needs of different students. We have also improved the equipment of the IT room to promote IT education.
In curriculum design, cross-curricular learning and reading are carried out to tie in with the theme of the school year in order to enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching. Drama classes have been added to the English and Chinese curricula, and efforts have been made to promote LBD, programming and STEAM programs to develop students' generic skills of creativity, inquiry, problem solving and expression.

Life-wide Learning:

Diversified academic and sports activities: foreign language classes in Japanese and Korean, English classes in drama, DJ, handicrafts, and soccer. Other classes include Olympiad, Speech, Choir, Boys and Girls Scouts, Community Youth Corps, Instrumental Classes, Ball Games, Swimming, Rope Skipping, Taekwondo, Cheerleading, Gymnastics Training, Chess, Fellowship, Environmental Groups, and STEAM activities.

Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:

To implement "pull-out" and "guaranteed minimum" teaching and activities, and to design different tasks and learning activities for students with different abilities.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/group learning, etc.); organizing inclusive school activities; and providing additional support (e.g. pull-out learning, pinyin teaching materials, etc.) on a need basis for the implementation of Putonghua teaching in the school across the board for all grades (i.e., for all classes/groups). Additional support (e.g. pull-out/group learning, phonics teaching materials, etc.) will be provided.

Home school cooperation:

Organize parent education courses and seminars. Communication between parents and school is strengthened through various activities such as All School Parents Day and P1 Orientation Day. Parents can also reflect their views to the school through emails and the PTA Executive Committee. The Parent-Teacher Association has been established for many years and has organized many activities. The Parent Volunteer Team also serves the school in many ways.

Environmental Policy:

To promote campus greening, automatic sensorized water taps have been installed to conserve water, and solar panels have been installed to use renewable energy.
