Classroom teaching model:
Science and technology areas of Mathematics and General Studies are taught in English, and Chinese is taught in either Putonghua or Cantonese. Different school teams are organized to develop students' potential, and there are motivational classes for low achievers and a school-based Chinese curriculum for non-Chinese speaking students. Five foreign English teachers teach English Pinyin, Speech and Reading.

Learning and Teaching Strategies :
Small class teaching, cooperative learning methodology, interdisciplinary project learning and reading lessons are implemented. To enhance students' biliteracy and trilingualism, the school uses Cantonese or Putonghua as the medium of instruction for the Chinese Language subject, and uses English to teach Mathematics and General Studies (Science and Technology). The school also actively participates in the support programs of the Education Bureau (EDB) and institutions to develop school-based curriculum, including the Chinese Curriculum Support Program for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students, the EDB Primary and Secondary Chinese Language Tiered Support Teaching Mode Program, the EDB Native-speaking English Teachers' Group English Reading Program, the School-based English Pinyin Program, the English Drama Program, the EDB Mainland/Hong Kong Teachers' Exchange and Collaboration Program, and the e-Learning Support Program, etc. The school also participates in the Chinese Language Program of the EDB.

The School provides additional support for admitted NCS students to learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive modes of Chinese language teaching and learning (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/cluster learning, etc.); developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; and organizing inclusive campus activities.
