Objective: The school is a primary school organized by the Buddhist organization "Tung Lin Kok Yuen", which is committed to promoting the opportunity for children to receive quality education. Through the cultivation of Buddhist moral education, the students will be able to take the school's motto of "Compassionate and Fraternal" as the principle of their conduct, and to become good citizens who are caring, kind-hearted, knowledgeable and sensible, so that they can make contribution to the society and the country.

Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:

School-based teaching materials are designed for non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students in Chinese Language to be used in conjunction with point-and-click pens (Primary and Secondary), a school-based reading and writing scheme in English Language, and a booklet on quick calculations in Mathematics to cater for the learning development of the students. There are also moral education programs designed for non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students to cultivate their proper values.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The School provides additional support to its admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese language teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/small group learning, etc.); developing a school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; organizing inclusive school activities; and employing additional staff and/or purchasing additional translation/interpretation services to facilitate communication with parents.
