School Wind:
The school culture is simple and honest, students are respectful of teachers and have a harmonious teacher-student relationship. The school has successfully established a caring culture, emphasized on classroom management, set up a comprehensive reward and punishment system, and implemented the Self-improvement Points Award Scheme and the Extra-curricular Activity Participation Award Scheme to cultivate students' positive values and attitudes, and to actively develop their personal potentials. The Discipline, Counseling, and Student Growth and Support Teams have developed a student growth development system and implemented the "Life Education Camp" in Grades 4 to 6. In Grade 4, students learn about self-leadership and undergo leadership and self-challenge training. In Grades 5 and 6, the Camp focuses on self-management, collaboration, problem-solving and reflection skills, as well as learning to get along with others and developing team spirit. The Discipline and Student Leadership and Support Teams have also been working on the Positive Education Program to enhance the well-being and resilience of the entire school community.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
The school continues to develop and improve its school-based curriculum and implement effective and diversified learning strategies, with the aim of building a good foundation in Chinese and English language and developing students' creative thinking and diversified potentials. The school emphasizes on experiential learning through project learning, contextual teaching, outdoor learning, service learning, education camps, life-wide experiential learning days, community services and visits to broaden students' horizons, and enhance their interest and effectiveness in learning.
Life-wide Learning:
Activity classes are held on Fridays, which are divided into four major areas, namely language, arts, sports and interests, mathematics, science and technology, with more than 40 groups; and after-school activities with more than 60 groups, including: technological investigation, mathematics, ball games, athletics, swimming, martial arts, percussion, violin, harmonica, choir, recorder, dance, Putonghua, Cantonese opera, English drama, visual arts, debate, small reporters, and uniformed teams.

The School provides additional support to admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/small group learning, etc.); and organizing inclusive campus activities.
Home school cooperation:
The school has been maintaining good communication and cooperation with parents. To meet the needs of students' growth, regular parent-teacher conferences, parent seminars and parent days are held at all levels; the PTA has matured in its operation and has an efficient team of parent volunteers, who have formed a close partnership with the school and are fully committed to assisting in the school's development, organizing parent-child activities and promoting parenting education on a regular basis.
