The design of the classroom emphasizes interaction and cooperative learning, stresses the need for high levels of student participation and sharing of learning outcomes, infuses higher-order thinking into the classroom, focuses on the development of students' abilities, and fosters students' interest in learning to achieve the results of active learning. Learning activities are based on heterogeneous grouping, with tiered assignments designed to cater for students' individual differences. Life-wide Learning:

We emphasize the development of multiple intelligences: Chinese and English musicals, Olympiad classes, STEAM ambassadors, marching band, ink painting classes, arts and crafts classes, dance, hand bells, choir, African drums, etc. We are also committed to promoting sports activities such as badminton, swimming, volleyball, basketball, and track and field, and emphasize the training of speech, mathematics, debate, and STEAM, and we encourage our students to participate in more service teams.

Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:

We provide enrichment or tailor-made courses for students with different abilities, as well as the Filling Station, Enrichment Classes, and the Rising Stars Program, which provide appropriate learning and extra-curricular activities for needy students to enhance their learning ability and self-confidence.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: after-school Chinese learning support; inclusive school activities; and additional support (e.g. pull-out/group learning, Pinyin teaching materials, etc.) as needed in the implementation of universal education for some of the grades (i.e., all classes/groups) in the school.
