The school culture is simple and the students are of good character. We are committed to building a caring culture and emphasize on good character development by organizing various moral education and counseling activities, such as the Growing Sky, the Little Teacher Project, the Six Arts Star Award Scheme, and classroom management, in order to enhance students' good character.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
1. Chinese Language: Literacy and Children's Literature are taught in Grades 1 and 2; Reading Strategies are taught in all grades to develop students' creative thinking and association through the Guided Thinking Reading Strategies. The teaching of quality writing (integrating reading and writing) is used to enhance students' writing and thinking skills.
2. English: Grades 1-3 implement the Primary English Reading and Writing Program (PLP-R/W) with foreign teachers; Grades 4-6 implement GUIDED READING and HOME READING SCHEME to increase students' interest and ability in English reading.
3. Mathematics: Encourage students to think about and learn mathematics from life experiences, cultivate students to read books on mathematics, and enhance their interest in learning mathematics by using interesting mathematical thinking questions in class.

Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:
In accordance with the school's focus on the development of language subjects, appropriate topics are selected for deletion or enrichment according to the teaching objectives of each subject as well as students' abilities and interests, and appropriate supplementary teaching materials are selected to cater for differences.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: additional teachers/teaching assistants are employed to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; and inclusive campus activities are organized.
Home school cooperation:
The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the school serves as an important bridge between the school and parents. Through home-school co-operation, children are able to develop holistically and grow healthily in a caring manner. The activities organized include parent day, parent-child activities, parent education seminars and parent volunteer services.
Environmental Policy:
Various environmental protection activities are organized to enhance students' knowledge of environmental protection. Lunch boxes are made of recyclable materials and recovered by an environmental protection company. Students use washable tableware and rags, and food waste is recovered and disposed of by the lunch merchant. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for protecting the environment and to practise green living.
