Using active teaching, the whole school sits in small groups and uses cooperative learning, gifted teaching, and small-step teaching to allow students to construct knowledge and cultivate 21st century literacy.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

A Teaching Assistant is employed to support NCS students' Chinese language learning in class, recess, after-school groups and during school holidays. In addition, inclusive campus cultural activities are organized during weekly assemblies to enhance the communication between Chinese-speaking students and NCS students.
Home school cooperation:
The PTA assists the school in planning and implementing activities, organizing parent volunteers, and supporting the school in building a caring culture. Teachers conduct annual home visits. Scholarships and school development funds are established. Set up English classes for parents in grades 1-2.
