Classroom teaching model:

The school adopts an active teaching mode for grades 1 to 3 and arranges for students to attend small group tutorials or after-school support classes according to their learning situation. Learning and Teaching Strategies :

The classroom design is student-oriented, and through different levels of questioning and activities, students' learning diversity is taken care of, and their interest in learning and higher-order thinking skills are enhanced. E-learning and STEM teaching are fully implemented to enhance students' independent learning and scientific investigation. Life-wide Learning:

Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:

Chinese is taught in Cantonese with small group pull-out classes to cater for students' individual learning differences and to enhance students' interest and academic performance. In English, we have included vocabulary lists and Phonics training in the curriculum to enhance students' English proficiency. Mathematics provides math books in the classroom to stimulate students' motivation for independent learning. In General Studies, project-based learning, e-learning and STEM teaching elements are implemented to enhance students' learning effectiveness in science and technology.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese language teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/small group learning, etc.); and organizing inclusive campus activities. Apart from the formal Chinese language curriculum in small groups, after-school Chinese interest classes are also implemented, and students participate in the "School-based Support Scheme for Non-Chinese Speaking Students in Chinese Language" organized by the Education Bureau (EDB), so as to enhance the Chinese language learning ability of NCS students.

Home school cooperation:

The school maintains a close partnership with parents and has a team of parent volunteers who participate in and assist with school activities. The school organizes open classrooms every school year for parents of kindergartens in the district and parents of the school to observe classes.

Environmental Policy:

The Spiritual and Character Development Unit of the school makes good use of the resources of Life-wide Learning to actively implement environmental education activities, aiming at strengthening students' sense of responsibility and leadership in protecting the environment. The "Green Ambassadors" promote the concept of sustainable living through participation in environmental activities organized by government departments or green groups.
