The school is actively practicing a caring culture, with the direction of integrating training and guidance, and with school-based guidance activities, it is committed to nurturing the all-round development of students and helping teachers and students to build up a good school culture of mutual love, mutual trust and care. Through the school-based guidance program "True Light Smart Kids" award program, we cultivate students to learn self-regulation, systematically cultivate students to establish correct values, to be able to establish good habits in different areas, and to be brave enough to face challenges and overcome difficulties. The program enables students to become CKPS Smart Kids.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
Cooperative Learning is implemented in the school to enhance students' classroom participation and collaboration through regular cooperative mode and diversified learning tasks. Some classrooms are equipped with tablet computers for teaching to enhance students' learning motivation. In addition, each subject has its own school-based curriculum to enhance students' knowledge, skills and attitudes in different subjects.
Life-wide Learning:
English Musical, Visual Arts, English Chef, Taekwondo, Cambridge English, Rope Skipping, Clay Crafts, Latin Dance, Beads and Maths, Handbells, Luminous Dragon Dance, Drum Circle, Choir, Girl Guides, Rhythmic Band, Pipers, Hip Hop, AI Maker, etc. We also hold trips, P5 Gospel Camps and out-of-country study. Trips, P5 camps, and out-of-country studies are held annually.

The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese language teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning, group/cluster learning, etc. on a need basis); developing school-based Chinese language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; organizing inclusive school activities; employing additional staff and/or purchasing additional translation/interpretation services to facilitate communication with parents; and providing additional support (e.g. pull-out/cluster learning) on a need basis in the implementation of universal education across the board for some grades (i.e. all classes/groups, etc.) in the school.
