The school has a simple school ethos and emphasizes on character education. The school adopts a policy of more rewards and fewer penalties, and implements a school-wide coherent reward scheme, as well as a school-based counseling program to enhance students' self-esteem and caring culture. In recent years, the school has developed a school-based reward Pointant Apps program, which is combined with the DreamWorld concept on campus to further appreciate students' positive behaviors.

Learning and Teaching Strategies :

Classroom learning is student-centered, emphasizing teacher-student interactions and cooperative learning mode, in order to develop students' learning potentials and cultivate their self-learning and exploratory skills. Through school-based thematic activities, service learning, outdoor learning, visits and interviews, students are able to go out of the classroom, broaden their horizons, learn through activities and enhance their interest in learning. The school also participates in school-based support programs to enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching.

Life-wide Learning:

The school emphasizes the diversified development of students and strives to provide different learning opportunities, such as the annual Life-wide Learning Day, subject excellence courses and service learning activities, and arts training activities, in order to enhance the physical, artistic and intellectual development of students. In recent years, the school has developed a career planning program for all students, which is in line with the concept of the Leung Chee Tak Bank, to further enable students to identify themselves and develop their strengths.

Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:

To cater for the learning needs of students, the school offers a wide range of advanced, remedial and school-based curricula. In addition, remedial classes and intensive support classes for elementary school are organized to cater for the diversity of learning through homework, dictation and examination adaptation.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn the Chinese language: after-school Chinese learning support, inclusive school activities, and additional support (e.g. pull-out/group learning, pinyin teaching materials, etc.) as needed in the implementation of Putonghua education across the board for some of the grades in the School (i.e., all classes/groups). According to the guidelines of the Education Bureau, the school provides appropriate support to NCS students by setting up after-school Chinese learning support classes to help students adapt to the local education system and learn Chinese well, so that they can integrate into the society as soon as possible.

Home school cooperation:

Activities include Parent Academy, Parent Choir, Parent Performing Arts Group, Parent Dance Group, Parent Designer, Parent Performing Arts Group, Parent-Child Trip, Parent-Child Workshops, Parent Interest Classes, and Parent Educational Seminars, etc. Parents are invited to volunteer for services, such as children's lunches, sports activities, Community Chest charity sales, uniform recycling, and visits to the elderly; and the "Parents' Voice Corner" has been set up to cultivate a harmonious relationship between home and school and to enhance the sense of belonging of the students, We also set up a "Parents' Voice Zone" to cultivate a harmonious relationship between home and school and enhance students' and parents' sense of belonging to the school.
