Program Planning
Based on the five developmental goals of physical, cognitive, linguistic, emotional and social, aesthetic and cultural development as the curriculum framework, we use children's daily life as the theme of the curriculum, and integrate biliteracy, trilingualism, mathematics, physical fitness, science, personal growth, social skills, arts and other areas of learning in the classroom activities.
Activity teaching, group activities, Native English Teacher (NET) group activities, programme design activities, out-of-school visits, book reading programmes, parent-child activities, participation in appropriate activities and competitions organized by outside organizations.
Teachers assess each student's learning and developmental progress by observing and recording the student's performance in daily learning activities, and report such records and assessments to parents in the form of rating scales, observation records and summative assessments; parents may also provide feedback on their children's performance in daily life. All assessment reports on learning progress, together with other supporting evidence of learning progress, are kept in the student's personal "learning history file".
The school will comply with theKindergarten Education Curriculum GuidelinesThe (2017) Planning Curriculum will not require children in nursery classes to write in pen and pencil, nor will they be required to do mechanical transcription or drill-based numeracy exercises.
School Mission and Vision
Providing a pleasant learning environment helps children to develop self-confidence, self-care, self-learning and good character, which are the most fundamental building blocks for lifelong learning. We believe that "Quality education is based on continuous improvement and innovation".
