Program Planning
With a child-centered approach, we emphasize on children's independent learning and biliteracy and trilingualism. Based on children's physical and mental development, we have developed a school-based curriculum with reference to the Education Bureau's "Guidelines on Pre-school Curriculum", and with the elements of "Gifted Education", we allow children to explore, experiment, and problem-solve in order to construct knowledge, and to enhance their high-level thinking skills, creativity, as well as their personal and social competence.
Various corner activities are arranged in the classroom, using games as an entry point to stimulate children's learning motivation and allow them to practise independent learning. Visits and tours are also arranged to enhance children's character education and broaden their learning experience. To cultivate children's learning attitudes of "exploration, expression, empowerment, experimentation, problem solving, self-confidence, higher order thinking, personal and social skills, and the courage to be innovative", the curriculum of specialized learning areas is enriched and extended to meet the different learning needs of students.
To assess children's learning effectiveness through continuous observation and to create a profile of children's physical and mental development and learning progress.
