Sponsor: Queen Elizabeth Secondary School Old Boys' Association Education and Promotion Organization Ltd.

The school develops a personal and social growth curriculum based on the school's goals, curriculum vision, and learning guidelines, which is complemented by a school-based counseling program that fosters harmonious teacher-student relationships and students' sense of belonging to the school.

Learning and Teaching Strategies :

Each 35-minute lesson allows teachers and students to make full use of the classroom time to carry out teaching and learning activities through cooperative learning and experiential learning, encouraging students to learn by doing, allowing students to construct knowledge through activities, and allowing students to experience the learning process and fieldwork through life-wide learning. The Growth Classes complement the other Key Learning Areas (KLAs) to cultivate and train students' generic skills.

Life-wide Learning:

To provide a wide range of learning experiences to facilitate students' life-wide learning experience in various aspects. In terms of subjects, students can apply what they have learned through different experiential activities. Experiential lessons and co-curricular activities are organized in the afternoon session. Teachers design cross-curricular lessons to provide students with more interesting and life-like learning experiences. Experiential Learning Week" is organized after the trial period for students to explore knowledge in the form of projects.

Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:

A collective lesson planning system has been set up for all major subjects at all levels to tailor and adapt the curriculum, and to discuss and design classroom teaching activities together for better teaching and learning.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; and organizing inclusive campus activities. Arrangements are made for students to attend after-school Chinese learning classes and homework assistance classes to help them learn Chinese and solve their difficulties in homework.

Home school cooperation:

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) facilitates communication and liaison between the school and parents, and co-organizes a variety of seminars, workshops, courses and recreational activities with the school. The PTA Volunteer Team liaises with parents to assist the school in implementing various learning activities.
The school organizes a number of parent days, parent-teacher conferences and student learning displays each year so that parents can understand what their students are learning at school.
