Classroom teaching model:

Small class teaching is practiced throughout the school. The school has implemented the Advanced Supplementary Curriculum for Chinese, English and Mathematics. After-school English and Mathematics tutorials are offered from P.3 to P.6. After-school English group and P.1-P.5 homework tutorial classes.

Placement in classes:

P.1 to P.2 are divided equally, P.3 to P.6 are organized on the basis of academic performance in two elite classes, and others are divided on the basis of average ability.

The school actively creates a caring campus culture, with good teacher-student relationships and students of good character and willingness to help others.

Learning and Teaching Strategies :

Emphasis on English language teaching and training with two foreign English teachers. Set up STEAM school-based programs, and set up different elite training classes to participate in training and different competitions. Every day, we have a 25-minute tutorial and a 20-minute reading class, and we have a school-based Ocean World program that explores conservation and environmental issues. The school organizes music and talent shows every year. We have exchanges with students from China and overseas. Arts education is implemented in a holistic manner, allowing students to go out into the community to create, visit and experience.

Life-wide Learning:

1. Inter-school Competitions: Athletics, Soccer, Volleyball, Swimming, Rope Skipping, Badminton, Singing, Speech, Chinese Dance, English Drama, Percussion.
2. Extra-curricular activities: Fellowship, STEAM group, Scouting, Community Chest, field trips, etc.
3. Co-curricular activities: Interview classes for secondary school promotion, ink painting, clay class, rope skipping, percussion band, Chinese and Western musical instrument class and Chinese and Western orchestra.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; and organizing inclusive campus activities.

Home school cooperation:

The PTA organizes different activities every year, such as parent-child trips and Life-wide Parent Workshops, to enhance home-school cooperation and communication. The Parent Volunteer Team supports the work of the school and builds up a parent contact network. The school also provides workshops and seminars for parents to enhance parent education. In addition, the school organizes Parents' Day, Parents' Seminar, Parents' Observation Classes, etc. to enable parents to know more about the development direction of the school.

Environmental Policy:

Setting up the Kei Wah Marine World, setting up a small garden, setting up a team of environmental protection ambassadors, and integrating environmental protection teaching with the curriculum.
