Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:

Teachers can make adjustments to the copying assignments for students assessed to have learning difficulties by reducing the frequency of copying and designing "layered worksheets" for students with different abilities. Teachers can also adjust the scope of silent writing for these students by narrowing the scope of revision or changing the form of silent writing so that students can prepare for silent writing with more confidence. In addition, the school may arrange for students with learning difficulties to be withdrawn from assessment or allow extra time during examinations according to their individual needs.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The School provides additional support to its admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese language teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/small group learning, etc.); developing a school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; organizing inclusive school activities; and employing additional staff and/or purchasing additional translation/interpretation services to facilitate communication with parents.
