Classroom teaching model:
1. There is one class for each grade from 3 to 6 in the P.E.C. The whole school adopts high thinking strategy and activity teaching, supplemented by e-learning, through a variety of games and competitions, so as to enhance students' interest and confidence.
2. Two classroom teachers for Grade 1; additional foreign English teachers are also recruited for the classes.

Emphasis is placed on character development and growth lessons are developed according to the needs of students. School-based discipline and counseling strategies are formulated, and continuous school-based counseling is implemented. Learning and Teaching Strategies :
Through adapting, tailoring and enriching the curriculum, we implement a number of distinctive school-based curricula, which are integrated with the core curriculum, in order to cultivate students' spirit of creative thinking and inquiry, humanistic qualities, and the ability to apply mathematics, science and technology in an integrated manner. Students are taught different thinking tools and introduced with creative information technology teaching elements to develop higher-order thinking skills such as creative problem solving, forecasting, analyzing and evaluating.
Life-wide Learning:
Roller Skating, Lego, Fencing, KinBall, K-Pop, Magic, Chinese Drums, Environmental Engineer, etc. Diversified extracurricular activities such as Speech, English Classes, Debate Team, Drama, Robotics, Scouting, Rhythmic Music, Pipe Band, Chorus, Dance, Athletics, Swimming, Table Tennis, Boys' and Girls' Soccer, Fancy Rope Skipping, Taekwondo, Basketball, and e-Recreation are also offered.
Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:
Curriculum adaptation, cross-curricular thematic courses and school-based gifted programs are used to promote teaching and learning activities and broaden the scope of learning in various subjects.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; organizing inclusive school activities; and providing additional support (e.g. pull-out/group learning, Pinyin teaching materials, etc.) as necessary in the implementation of Putonghua teaching across the board for some of the grades in the school (i.e., for all classes/groups).

Environmental Policy:
Through a variety of learning activities such as waste recycling programs, environmental ambassador training, community planting activities, seminars and visits, students develop critical thinking skills on environmental issues.
