The school tailors the curriculum for students with different learning abilities and offers a wide range of specialized courses to maximize students' potential. At the same time, the school also provides homework and assessment and adaptation for students with specific learning difficulties.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese learning; and organizing inclusive campus activities. In addition, homework tutorial classes are organized and a dedicated teacher is assigned to communicate with parents on a regular basis to support their needs.
Home school cooperation:
Contacting parents through parent-teacher conferences, appointments with the principal, e-circulars and "letters to the principal". Regular parent classes, parent education activities and interest groups are organized to build up a learning community and network for parents. Parents regularly participate in on-site and off-site volunteer work, such as story aunts, lunch aunts, and parent-child volunteer services.
