Classroom teaching model:
The new 11-year through-train model has three stages of primary and secondary school completion: Foundation Year 2, Extension Year 5 and Mastery Year 4. Upon completion of the 11th year, students can sit for the Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) or the International Baccalaureate (IB). Note: Upon completion of five years of primary schooling, students can be admitted to secondary school in the same school.

Learning and Teaching Strategies :
The school year is divided into five sections and there are 190 school days. The school's curriculum is organized in a modular fashion to flexibly match the lesson time of each section. The school emphasizes the importance of real learning experiences for students inside and outside the classroom, and stresses that knowledge must be integrated with life. All subjects are closely linked from Foundation 1 onwards, and an integrated cross-curricular approach has been adopted for Science and Humanities.
Life-wide Learning:
Co-curricular activities are organized on a weekly basis according to the age and developmental stage of the students, so that they can receive systematic training in various cultural, recreational and sports activities. After-school activities include interest groups, student fellowships, uniformed teams, social services, inter-school competitions, field trips, sleep-away camps, local and overseas cultural exchange programs, as well as various sports activities. Multiple Intelligences (MI) classes are offered in Foundation 1 and 2.
Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:
The school adopts local, mainland, British and American teaching materials, combines the advantages of Chinese and Western education, makes school-based adaptations according to teaching needs, and creates a unique curriculum.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to facilitate their Chinese language learning by: employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support the Chinese language learning of NCS students; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning, group/cluster learning, etc.); organizing inclusive school activities; and providing additional support (e.g. pull-out/cluster learning, pinyin teaching materials, etc.) as necessary in the implementation of Putonghua teaching at all levels (i.e., in all classes/groups) in the School. (e.g. pull-out/group learning, phonics teaching materials, etc.).
Home school cooperation:
Organize a number of parent gatherings each year, which are well attended by parents. A Parents Reading Club was established to encourage parents to read. A number of parent newsletters are published. Strengthen partnership through Parent-Teacher Association, Parent Volunteers, Parent Academy, Parent Fellowship, Parent Support Group and Parent Prayer Group.
