Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:
Programs are conducted in different subject groups and project learning is conducted in a cross-curricular collaborative mode. Regular collaborative lesson planning is carried out and there are a number of collaborative projects and school-based curricula. The e-learning platform and flipped classrooms are utilized to enhance students' self-learning ability. The AQP data is used to analyze school examination papers to achieve "Assessment for Learning".
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The School provides additional support to admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/small group learning, etc.); developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; and organizing inclusive campus activities. After-school Chinese language classes are organized for NCS students to enhance their Chinese reading and writing skills.
