Classes are divided into four and five small classes, each with 25-27 students; P.1 and P.2 are taught in the classroom; all subjects are taught in English (except Chinese); emphasis is placed on character development with the implementation of the "Seven Good Habits for Self-Leadership" program; emphasis is placed on the development of academics, sciences, and technology, and teaching is based on a diverse range of activities and interactive methods.

Students are humble and courteous, and the school culture is simple and unadorned. We emphasize the importance of cultivating students' hard work, giving them a sense of achievement, and fostering their resilience and perseverance. We promote self-leadership and the Seven Good Habits.

Learning and Teaching Strategies :

A total of 15 foreign teachers; all subjects are taught in English except for Chinese, which is taught in Putonghua; students are required to read English and Chinese books every day. Students are required to read Chinese and English books every day. The school has a reasonable homework policy, which includes not only paper and pencil, but also creative writing, data collection, and reflection. Every other week, English and Chinese silent reading are arranged; P.1 and P.2 English immersion is easily adapted through activity-based learning; P.3 and P.4 emphasize the cultivation of learning methods, and students are required to prepare for class, write notes and extend self-learning after class; P.5 and P.6 set up study groups, encouraging peer support to promote the cultivation of an attitude of diligence and seriousness in learning.

Life-wide Learning:

Emphasize all-round development and provide systematic training. Multiple Intelligences: Academic, Physical Education, Music, and Art Programs. Highlights include: Creative Studies, Badminton, Gymnastics, Unicycling, Roller Hockey, Athletics, Table Tennis, Mathematics, Ceramics, Shadow Play, Campus TV, Chinese and English Drama, and Musical Theatre.

Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:

The school accommodates individual differences in homework and testing for students who need it.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/group learning, etc.); organizing inclusive school activities; and providing additional support (e.g. pull-out learning, pinyin teaching materials, etc.) on a need basis for the implementation of Putonghua teaching in the school across the board for all grades (i.e., for all classes/groups). Additional support (e.g. pull-out/group learning, phonics teaching materials, etc.) will be provided.

Home school cooperation:

The "Dolphin Parenting Philosophy" emphasizes the importance of caring for children, but at the same time having requirements for children, educating children with a certain academic level and CQ, as well as healthy eating and sleeping habits; setting up a Parent Academy to provide lectures and training on more than 20 topics each year; the PTA works closely with the school, organizing activities and interest classes, and organizing parent volunteers to teach life skills to the students.

Environmental Policy:

In addition to the policy of "Save Paper" office, an environmental protection team has been set up to promote environmental education programs. Activities include: Plastic Swap, Plastic Friday, Coastal Cleanup, and Video Design Competition.
