Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The school provides additional support to its admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; organizing inclusive school activities; and providing additional support (e.g. pull-out/group learning, Pinyin teaching materials, etc.) as necessary in the implementation of Putonghua teaching across the board for some of the grades in the school (i.e., for all classes/groups). The school purchases teaching resources to promote Chinese language learning, organizes Chinese cultural experiences and translates school circulars as necessary.
