Learning and Teaching Strategies :

Grades 3-6 have Individual Learning Profiles (ILPs), Primary 4-6 Education Camps, and Outdoor Learning Days for all grades, where students learn responsibility, collaboration, contribution, and communication through in-school and out-of-school services. There are whole-school cross-curricular activities and a Primary 4 Integrated Arts Program that integrates visual arts, music and physical education. Through a variety of physical learning, students can enhance their ability to solve difficult problems in life.

Life-wide Learning:

Total 41 items: Speech, Putonghua, Music (rhythm, recorder, chorus, sing-along, violin, bells, drums, etc., 10 teams), Chinese and English Drama, Science, English, Olympiad, Computer, Taekwondo, Dance, Art, Calligraphy, Gardening, Scouting, Soccer, Gymnastics, Table Tennis, and Athletics.

Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:

School-based curricula are offered in Chinese and English to cater for the appropriate development of students.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese language teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, small group/group learning, etc.); developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; and organizing inclusive campus activities.

Home school cooperation:

A School Collaboration Team was set up to handle home-school collaboration matters and to liaise with parent volunteer teams. A Successful Parenting Academy was set up to promote parent education and parent-child learning activities were organized in collaboration with the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).

Students are encouraged to take an active part in environmental protection through environmental activities such as "Food Week", "Eco-Festival", "Air-conditioning Free Night", and so on.
