Classroom teaching model:

Different modes of class placement and adaptation of learning contents are implemented to cater for the needs of students with different abilities. Apart from splitting the classes into smaller ones according to the needs, we will also incorporate the elements of the gifted curriculum and set up pull-out gifted groups (e.g. English Drama, Little Scientist, Movie Cutting Agents, etc.) in the classroom teaching.

1. The school has a simple ethos, harmonious teacher-student relationships and is known for the good behavior of its students.

Learning and Teaching Strategies :

Diversified teaching strategies are used to help students construct knowledge, including STEM education, e-learning, cross-curricular reading, and programming education, to enhance interest and performance in learning, and to enhance students' biliteracy and trilingualism through classroom and contextualized teaching, including: English and P.E.C.S. (reading, speaking, and listening). In grades 4-6, we have implemented the BYOD program, which allows students to use iPads as a learning tool to enhance their engagement and learning effectiveness.

Diversified Programs (Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Red Cross Youth Troop, Choir, Band, Athletic Teams, Soccer Teams, Badminton Teams, Table Tennis Teams, Swimming Classes, Taekwondo, Modern Dance, Fancy Rope Skipping, Violin, Shepherd's Flute, Math and Olympics Training, English Drama, Film Cutting Agents, Programming Designers, Robotics, Robots, Leaders' Training, Pioneers of Christ, Community Chest Junior Youth Troop).

Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:

School-based teaching materials, such as English grammar, Hanyu Pinyin and Mathematics adapted curriculum, have been developed to meet the needs of students. Gifted education has been incorporated into the curriculum and different gifted groups have been set up for the more able students, while group learning has been arranged for the less able students.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese language teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/cluster learning, etc.); and organizing inclusive campus activities.

Home school cooperation:
