Classroom teaching model:
Students come from Hong Kong and more than 30 different ethnic groups around the world, and are taught in small classes with Chinese and English as the medium of instruction: grades 1 and 2 emphasize the development of learning abilities and attitudes; grades 3 and 4 consolidate the fundamentals of learning; and grades 5 and 6 emphasize academic and personal achievement to prepare them for their future education.

Learning and Teaching Strategies :
The school is the first to implement small class teaching, supplemented by cooperative learning to enhance classroom interaction and students' creative thinking. Life-wide Learning (LWL) at all levels starts with project-based learning topics in General Studies and leads to cross-curricular learning activities in all subjects. In Chinese Language, we have implemented the PTH Chinese Language and Lively and Multi-lingual Curriculum; in English Language, we have strengthened the appreciation of children's literature in English, and promoted the School-based Reading and Writing Scheme for Primary English from the lower primary level onwards, in order to develop interactive learning and the reading-to-writing scheme; and in Mathematics, we have implemented the experimental teaching method, and have been actively promoting Mathematics and Science Education as well as e-learning.
Life-wide Learning:
Interests include Computer Programming, Chinese and English Drama, Cub Scouts, Pioneers for Christ, Lion Dance, Chinese Dance, Instrumental Classes, Cambridge English, Swimming Training, Soccer, Rugby, Volleyball, Basketball, Spanish, Putonghua, Choir, Orienteering, Yoga, Hip Hop, Chinese Wushu, Roblox, Cub Scouting, and Table Tennis.
Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:
Flexible curriculum tailoring and enrichment policies, quality curriculum for each class, special tests for students with special needs, and extra time for non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students after school for enhanced care.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn the Chinese language by arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning, group/cluster learning, etc.), organizing inclusive school activities, and providing additional support (e.g. pull-out/cluster learning, pinyin teaching materials, etc.) as necessary in the implementation of Putonghua teaching in all grades (i.e. in all classes/clusters) of the school. There is pull-out group learning in grades 1-6 and phonics teaching materials in grade 1. After-school tutoring is also available for homework.
Home school cooperation:
PTAs cooperate with schools in organizing learning activities for students, parent education, parent-child activities, storytelling and interest groups, etc. They also participate in the tendering of school uniforms and lunch supplies, and assist in the supervision of school buses.
