The school adopts mother-tongue teaching to enhance students' interest in learning and to facilitate communication between teachers and students, thus promoting interactive learning. The school also emphasizes "biliteracy and trilingualism" and the importance of both Chinese and English to enhance students' language proficiency. At junior secondary levels, small class teaching is adopted for both Chinese and English subjects to provide students with more care and to enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching. In addition to the establishment of the Chinese and English Resource Rooms, the school also arranges for students to have lunchtime sessions in Cantonese, Putonghua and English. In order to enhance students' English proficiency, some junior secondary subjects are taught in English in selected modules, and English extension activities are also organized. The English Department also adopts small class teaching at senior secondary levels.
