As an English secondary school, all subjects are taught in English, while Chinese Language and Chinese History are taught in Putonghua and Cantonese. In recruiting teachers, we have taken advantage of the DSS to recruit local teachers as well as teachers from Australia, Mainland China, France, India, the United Kingdom, Canada and other countries. We have recruited more than 15% of our professional teachers from outside Hong Kong. We also accept non-Chinese students, who help to create a multicultural and multilingual learning environment, and provide opportunities for local students to be exposed to the cultures and traditions of other places.
Tests and study adaptation measures:
The school mainly adopts two modes of assessment: continuous assessment and final examination. Continuous assessment includes homework, classroom or laboratory activities, learning attitudes, classroom participation, tests and project work. Examinations are held in January and June each year for S1 to S5 students, and only once a year for S6 students. In addition, the implementation of "curriculum grouping" in Chinese and English Mathematics is effective for learning adaptation.

In order to pay attention to the individual needs of students, the school has adopted a curriculum grouping model that caters for the different learning needs of students at all levels of the junior secondary school. We have implemented the dual class teacher system at all levels to enable class teachers to have close contact with students and to strengthen the liaison between the school and parents. The Student Guidance Team has been set up in the school to design various kinds of activities in the classroom teachers' lessons and to lead students to explore different topics, such as personal growth, civic education, family relationship, etc., during the morning assembly and the special whole-school activity time on Friday afternoons. In addition to the two resident social workers, the school also has an experienced counselor to provide counseling to students in need.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
As a Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) school, it has the autonomy to set and design its own junior secondary school curriculum and prepare its students for the senior secondary public examinations. The school's curriculum is designed to:
