Life-wide Learning:

There are more than 30 activity groups in the academic, athletic, hobby and service categories. Every year, the school organizes large-scale activities such as water and land sports, English Week and Academic Week. Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:

The school is committed to building an inclusive culture and adopting a Whole School Approach to support students with SEN. Through the deployment of resources, appropriate and diversified support services are provided to enhance students' learning effectiveness and facilitate their integration into school life. The SEN Support Team collaborates with other sections of the school to provide the necessary support services for students with SEN. These include the Focus Group, the Social Training Group, the Speech Therapy Group and the Table Games Group. The school emphasizes home-school co-operation and has established a regular communication mechanism to discuss with parents on strategies to support students through different channels.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: after-school support for Chinese language learning; cultural integration activities; and additional support (e.g. pull-out/group learning, Pinyin teaching materials, etc.) as needed in the implementation of universal education for some of the grades (i.e., all classes/groups) of the school. For example, after-school support is provided to help NCS students learn Chinese and organize cultural integration activities.

Environmental Policy:

The Life Education Section is responsible for promoting environmental protection in the school. In collaboration with the Resource Unit, the Student Union and other subjects, we have implemented various environmental protection measures and activities, such as recycling of eating utensils, recycling campaigns and casual wear day, etc. In 2020, we will start to participate in the Pilot Scheme on Recycling of Plastics to improve and plan for the long-term strategy of waste management and to enhance the students' environmental protection awareness. 2021, we will set up an Environmental Education Learning Point, which will be near the environmental protection facilities, and incorporate technological information to enhance the learning interest. The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System consists of two phases: Discretionary Places Allocation (DP) and Central Allocation (CA).
Discretionary places refer to S1 places reserved by schools for self-admission of students. Government, aided and caput secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places not exceeding 30%, while DSS secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places exceeding 30%.
The application period for the 2024 Discretionary Places is from January 2 to January 16, 2024. All secondary schools participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System (participating secondary schools) will accept applications during the same period. Parents of current Primary 6 students participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) will receive two copies of the Application Form for Secondary 1 Discretionary Places in early December 2023 through their children's elementary school.
