School Wind:
The school is characterized by strict discipline, simplicity and harmonious relationship between teachers and students. The Moral Education Team organizes morning assemblies, seminars and workshops to cultivate students' good character. Each year, the Moral Education objectives are set and teachers and students take turns to share the concepts, importance, practices and experiences related to the objectives.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
Under the leadership of the Head of each subject, teaching strategies are developed in line with the direction of curriculum reform to train students to be independent thinkers, e-learners, self-directed learners, and multi-intelligence learners. Teachers share their teaching experience through peer lesson observation to achieve paradigm shift and customize teaching to students' needs. Students have access to the English Corner for daily conversation practice and borrowing of English books. Students are encouraged to set learning goals and organize learning groups to share their experiences. In recent years, various subjects have implemented the "Top and Bottom Policy" and the "Pre-Alert Program" in senior secondary schools to enhance students' understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, so as to improve the performance of senior secondary students in public examinations. In junior secondary schools, the "Small Class Teaching Policy" and the "Heterogeneous Teaching" policy for each subject were implemented to strengthen the learning foundation of junior secondary students.
Teacher professional training and development:
Staff participate in a system of teacher-developed appraisal in the form of self-evaluation, top-down and bottom-up appraisal, which has evolved into student feedback to teachers and teacher feedback to principals. The Teacher Development Team designs professional development activities for staff based on the assessment results and the needs of teachers. The Quality Assurance Inspectorate (QAI) commends the school's appraisal system and the professional development of teachers.
Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
Through the Whole School Approach (WSA) to Integrated Education, students with diverse learning needs can receive acceptance and care from staff and peers in the school, so that they can have a stronger sense of belonging to the school and learn more effectively.
Teachers identify students with diverse learning needs at an early stage and design appropriate teaching methods accordingly. Inclusion Week provides opportunities for students to receive peer support in learning. The school also organizes various activities for parents to practice "Home-School Cooperation".

The School provides additional support to admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group learning, etc.); developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; and organizing cultural integration activities.
