School-wide language policy:
The school adopts mother-tongue teaching to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning. Students are biliterate and trilingual through student-led English and Putonghua morning assemblies, "English Day", various English activities, the cultivation of reading habits and the creation of a rich language environment. The non-language subjects in junior secondary schools have implemented the "School-based Extended Learning of English for Junior Secondary Schools" to meet the needs of students for further studies and employment, and at the same time, to strengthen English language training and enhance students' interest in learning English.
Tests and study adaptation measures:
The school emphasizes on the academic standard of students and has formulated different assessment policies to enhance the academic performance of students in various aspects. The school also arranges advanced, enhanced and remedial classes to cater for the learning needs of students.
Higher Order Thinking (HOT) topics are incorporated into teaching, student work, tests and examinations in all subjects to enhance students' higher order thinking skills.

The school provides a wide range of nurturing activities to help students grow up. Learning and Teaching Strategies :
The school offers a diversified curriculum, including an adapted curriculum in addition to the core curriculum, to cater for the diversity of student learning. The school adopts a Whole School Approach (WSA) in the implementation of IE. The IE Section is responsible for planning, implementing and reviewing the support for IE with a view to formulating a "School-based IE Policy". The school has a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator and a Special Educational Needs Support Teacher, and makes flexible use of the Learning Support Grant and other school resources to provide diversified support for students with special educational needs, including Individualized Learning Plans for students, after-school individual learning support, language enhancement training courses, speech therapy services, concentration enhancement training courses, interest classes, etc., in order to provide appropriate support for the students with special educational needs. The school also arranges internal tests. The school also arranges internal test adaptation and assists students in applying for test adaptation for public examinations. The school works closely with parents, educational psychologists and Education Bureau staff to attend case conferences and follow up support work.
