Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
The school adopts a "Whole School Approach" in the implementation of IE. A Student Support Team is set up under the leadership of the Deputy Principal, with a teacher acting as the co-ordinator, and two Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Teachers and a Guidance Counselor assisting in the daily operation of the school. Through the flexible use of the Learning Support Grant and the integration of resources within the school, a strategic support plan has been formulated to provide appropriate assistance to students with SEN, including outsourcing of literacy training, speech therapy services, clinical psychology services and subject counseling groups. The Heads of Chinese, English, Mathematics and Civic and Social Development serve as the academic advisors of this team to enhance the learning effectiveness of students with SEN through curriculum design, diversified teaching strategies, and arrangements for assignments and special tests. The school works closely with the Education Bureau and psychologists to conduct regular individual meetings and student assessments, and invites parents to participate in the meetings to formulate individual learning plans for students, review their effectiveness and enhance their learning effectiveness.
