The school promotes simplicity in its school ethos and supports student growth through a disciplinary policy based on the principle of "Strict but Caring". The school cooperates with the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) in nurturing students' growth. With the support of our alumni, we often return to our alma mater to hold seminars and share our experiences with our siblings. Graduating students often return to the school to serve as mentors.

The school has a Big Brothers Big Sisters program, which encourages siblings to take care of their younger siblings: free tutoring classes are also offered to students. In recent years, all junior high school students have been required to participate in uniformed groups, arts or sports activities, so that students can learn to be self-reliant and take care of themselves.

The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System consists of two phases: Discretionary Places Allocation (DP) and Central Allocation (CA).
Discretionary places refer to S1 places reserved by schools for self-admission of students. Government, aided and caput secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places not exceeding 30%, while DSS secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places exceeding 30%.
The application period for the 2024 Discretionary Places is from January 2 to January 16, 2024.
