The school emphasizes character development and adopts a whole-school strategy of discipline and counseling, working with the school social worker and the Religious Department to support and care for students as they grow up. Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:

The school adopts a Whole School Approach (WSA) to IE and has set up a Student Learning Support Team (SLST) (comprising the Deputy Principal, the SEN Co-ordinator, the SEN Support Teacher, the Chinese and English subject teachers, the Guidance Counselor and the Teaching Assistants, etc.) to support students with special educational needs (SEN). We also cater for students' learning differences through Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), curriculum design, diversified teaching strategies, optimized tiered assignments, homework and test adaptation, etc. to enhance the learning effectiveness of students with SEN. The school flexibly utilizes the Learning Support Grant for outsourcing services such as social training groups, individual counseling, after-school learning counseling, etc., and employs additional manpower to provide support and counseling to students with SEN and non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students with SEN. In addition, the resident speech therapist and school-based educational psychologist help to identify and assist students in need.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; and organizing cultural integration activities.

The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System consists of two phases: Discretionary Places Allocation (DP) and Central Allocation (CA).
Discretionary places refer to S1 places reserved by schools for self-admission of students. Government, aided and caput secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places not exceeding 30%, while DSS secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places exceeding 30%.
The application period for the 2024 Discretionary Places is from January 2 to January 16, 2024. All secondary schools participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System (participating secondary schools) will accept applications during the same period. Parents of current Primary 6 students participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) will receive two copies of the Application Form for Secondary 1 Discretionary Places in early December 2023 through their children's elementary school.
