Apart from the more systematic and focused professional development opportunities provided by the EDB for the teachers concerned to implement the Hong Kong Teachers' Professional Ladder, the School also provides core training courses and related resources for teachers at different levels. Lectures and workshops on the five core values of Catholic education, national security education, e-learning, STEM teaching, self-directed learning, positive education, physical and mental health, etc. are organized regularly in each school year. The Teacher Development Team has set up an internal award scheme to encourage teachers to actively participate in courses, seminars, symposia and workshops organized by the Education Bureau, the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong, tertiary institutions and professional bodies. In order to respond to the educational goal of independent learning, each subject team also encourages colleagues to collaborate with the team in organizing timely and appropriate training courses, and the school also arranges exchanges with different schools and professional organizations for teachers to broaden their horizons.

Parents can only apply for a maximum of two participating secondary schools for their children. Note: Applications for Discretionary Places from more than two secondary schools, whether submitted in paper form or through the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) e-platform, will be considered invalid.
