Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
The School is committed to building an inclusive and caring culture and adopts a Whole School Approach to IE. The School's Student Support Team, comprising the Deputy Principal, the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, the Guidance Officer, the Discipline Officer, the Integrated Education Support Teacher, the Educational Psychologist and the Social Worker, provides appropriate support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
The school adopts a diversified mode of support by implementing a variety of training courses and group activities, providing individual counseling to students in need, and making flexible use of the Learning Support Grant to procure professional services, such as speech therapy and occupational therapy services.
The school regularly disseminates information on integrated education to all teachers, shares relevant concepts and teaching suggestions to enhance teachers' understanding of integrated education, and encourages staff to participate in training courses organized by the Education Bureau to enhance their professional knowledge.
