School-wide language policy:
The school uses the mother tongue as the medium of instruction. In English, the junior high school has streamed teaching according to the ability of the students, and the spoken English lessons are taught by foreign teachers in collaboration with local teachers. During lunch time, expatriate teachers organize different English activities. Junior high school students have the opportunity to study English at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, while senior high school students have the opportunity to study English at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Tests and study adaptation measures:
Assessment is both progressive and summative. In the Junior Secondary English subject, there are examination papers of different levels to cater for students with learning differences. In other subjects, students' analytical and problem-solving skills are emphasized. Teachers also assess the learning needs of different students to formulate individual learning plans. With the consent of parents, students are allowed to have examination adaptations, such as extra time, enlarged examination papers, printing of examination papers on color paper, screen reading, etc. Adaptations are also applied for students in public examinations.

Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
The school has a Special Care Team comprising the Deputy Principal, the Special Education Coordinator, the Guidance Officer, the Head of Chinese, English and Mathematics, and the School Social Worker, together with the Educational Psychologist, Speech Therapist and Occupational Therapist, to provide a comprehensive range of support services to cater for the individual differences of students. Class teachers, subject teachers and subject teachers of students with SEN, parents and educational psychologists are invited to attend case conferences as necessary to work out feasible and effective support measures.
The school makes flexible use of the Learning Support Grant to procure services and employ professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, counselors, teaching assistants and activity instructors, to set up different groups to provide training for needy students, teaching them ways to improve their learning skills, enhance their concentration, behavior and emotion, behavior and socialization, improve their literacy and vocational skills, etc., so as to ensure that SEN students can receive appropriate support.
