The school has a strict school culture and emphasizes on students' moral and ethical cultivation, and often organizes seminars on moral and civic education. Through the close cooperation between the Discipline and Guidance Teachers, students are encouraged to abide by the school rules and treat others with courtesy. Counseling teachers and school social workers help students to cope with the difficulties of growing up, and counseling activities are often held to help students develop in a holistic manner outside of academics.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
To emphasize the development of students' interest and positive attitude towards learning, as well as their abilities in analysis, problem solving, expression, creativity and critical thinking. Encourage cross-curricular activities across disciplines to integrate knowledge from different disciplines, design student-centered curricula according to students' abilities and needs, enable students to learn more effectively from different disciplines, and promote e-learning to enable students to engage in self-directed learning after school.

Teachers regularly attend teaching lectures, seminars, training courses, refresher courses and certificate programs to continuously improve their professional knowledge and skills. We have organized many educational study tours to Taiwan, Mainland China and Singapore, and have met with Shanghai Shibei Middle School, Wuxi Bridge Experimental Middle School, Beijing Luhe Middle School, Shenzhen Chung Ying Public School, Toyama University of International Studies High School (Toyama, Japan), Youngil High School (Seoul, South Korea), La Salle Secondary School (Malaysia) and other schools in the region. Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
The Counseling Department organizes a variety of activities for all students to participate in to develop positive values. If there are special learning needs, students will be referred to the school social worker for follow-up.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
Additional support is provided to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: after-school Chinese learning support; cultural integration activities; and additional support (e.g. pull-out/group learning, Pinyin teaching materials, etc.) as needed in the implementation of Putonghua education across the board for some of the grades in the school (i.e., all classes/groups). Two NCS students have been admitted to the school since its opening. The first one will sit for the Diploma of Arts (DEA) in 2020, and is now studying for a law degree in a local university after career counseling by the school. We are confident that our Form 3 students from Europe can also strive for excellence.

Heated indoor swimming pool, computer-assisted classrooms, campus television, language and math rooms, air-conditioned auditorium, guidance activity room, student activity room, college and career counseling room, instructional resource room, computer self-learning center, multi-purpose room, student leader's room, and parent-teacher conference room. In addition, all classrooms and special rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and LCD projectors.
