At the junior secondary level, different classes and subjects are taught in English and mother tongue (please refer to the information on "Subjects to be offered in the 2022/23 school year" and "Subjects to be offered in the 2023/24 school year"). The English subject at junior secondary level is taught in small groups according to students' ability. At senior secondary level, Chinese and English, and Liberal Studies at Secondary 6 are taught in small classes, with some classes adopting English as the medium of instruction for elective subjects. The school emphasizes the development of biliteracy and trilingualism to create an effective language environment. In the daily life of the school, students are exposed to and learn English and Putonghua through different channels by means of infiltration and immersion.

The school is run in a Christian spirit. The school is a simple school with a strong emphasis on whole-person education, especially character development. In addition, students are actively encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities and community services. Learning and Teaching Strategies :

Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
In order to implement IE through a whole-school approach, the school has made good use of the EDB subsidy to purchase professional services and employ dedicated staff to assist the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator in co-ordinating different measures to enable teachers to take care of students with SEN in a more effective manner, which include teaching and assessment adjustment, remedial team, social and attention training team, Individualized Learning Plan (ILP), etc. Besides, the school also has regular channels to communicate with parents and to discuss the most appropriate care measures with them. The school has received additional funding from the Education Bureau (EDB) to provide support to NCS students in accordance with the school-based approach. The support is coordinated by the Task Force. The support includes support in the Chinese Language classroom (e.g. pull-out learning), the adoption of school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapted learning and teaching materials, after-school support (e.g. Chinese Language Learning Groups), and the School's measures to build an inclusive campus, including the organization of activities to promote cultural integration/multiculturalism.

The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g., pull-out learning on a need basis, small group learning, etc.); developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; organizing cultural integration activities; and employing additional staff and/or purchasing additional translation/interpretation services to facilitate communication with parents.
