The school offers a diversified curriculum with co-curricular activities and life-wide learning to enable students to achieve whole-person development and develop positive values and attitudes. Students are encouraged to take the initiative in learning and learning differences are catered for. Through life-wide learning, students develop independent thinking, critical thinking, problem-solving and leadership skills. The diversity of the curriculum provides equal learning opportunities for both boys and girls (both boys and girls are required to take Home Economics and Design and Technology), and students can choose different subjects according to their interests in senior secondary school.

Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
A Whole School Approach is adopted to support students with special educational needs (SEN). To cater for the special educational needs of students, the school, with the assistance of teachers, arranges teaching assistants to provide daily after-school tutorials for students with special educational needs; organizes critical thinking and writing training groups, robotics groups and socialization groups, etc. The school-based educational psychologist and speech therapist also provide curricular and pedagogical support as well as formulate individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: additional teachers/teaching assistants are employed to support NCS students to learn Chinese.
