Learning and Teaching Strategies :
- School-based STEM education is developed to enhance students' creativity, collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills through different forms of cross-curricular activities and classroom learning. The school further promotes school-based STEM education by organizing different kinds of activities, such as experiential days and competitions for primary schools in the district and open days. The school-based junior secondary cross-curricular STEM education program is conducted in the form of project-based inquiry, integrating STEM concepts into the science, mathematics, computer, design and technology curricula, providing students with space for self-learning and creativity development, as well as opportunities for hands-on experimentation and practice, so as to increase the opportunities for cross-curricular learning for students. The establishment of the "STEM Creative Learning Center" provides a self-learning space with venues, facilities and materials where students can conduct research, discussion, production, testing, improvement and sharing of results during classroom and after-school extension activities, which not only enhances students' interest in learning and putting into practice what they have learned in class, but also strengthens their self-learning and group collaboration skills.
- The school has successfully applied for the Quality Education Fund to implement the "Hydroponic Planting Scheme" and build the "Artisan Workshop". The "Hydroponics Planting Project" is an experiential project that allows students to learn scientific concepts and principles through fun and practical activities, integrating life and science and cultivating the spirit of caring for the people and the things they love. The "Artisan's Studio" is equipped with the latest equipment and teaches students to design AR and VR teaching materials on the Tang and Song dynasties using computer programs, which is a combination of tradition and innovation that inspires the students' mindset.

Through joint professional development of teachers, cross-curricular collaboration, teaching and research activities, and sharing of teaching experience with the community, the professional knowledge of teachers is strengthened and a high quality teaching team is built, thereby enhancing the quality of learning and teaching.
Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
- IE in the School is led by the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, who leads a team comprising the Special Education Support Teacher, the class teacher, the Resident Social Worker, the IE Co-ordinator, six Teaching Assistants and Activity Assistants, and the Educational Psychologist to formulate, implement and review the support strategies for IE in the School, and to appoint teachers on a regular basis to attend relevant courses to enhance the professionalism of the teacher team. Teachers are regularly assigned to attend relevant courses to enhance the professionalism of the teacher team.
- A three-tier support model is adopted to help students integrate into campus life and develop multiple intelligences, taking care of students' growth needs and enabling students with different aspirations and abilities to articulate to multiple pathways: optimizing classroom teaching, designing adapted lesson plans and tiered worksheets, and providing high-quality classroom teaching, so that every student can learn effectively; providing after-school support for SEN students; and designing individualized learning plans and remedial programmes for SEN students, and reviewing the programmes regularly. We design individualized learning plans and counseling programs for SEN students and review them regularly.
- The Learning Support Grant employs a multi-disciplinary team to provide appropriate support to SEN students, including: outsourced speech therapy and various therapeutic services, literacy training, social skills training, concentration training, interest groups, etc. Tests and adaptations are also provided for SEN students.
- The school has a number of SEN students who have won awards in out-of-school English drama, sport, technology, community service and leadership and have become role models for other students, who appreciate each other's strengths and learn to respect each other.

The School provides additional support to admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group learning, etc.); developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; and organizing cultural integration activities.
