Program Planning
With reference to the Education Bureau's "Curriculum Guide for Kindergarten Education", a balanced and appropriate curriculum is developed in accordance with children's abilities, life experiences and learning interests.
Integrated Activity Teaching (IAT) allows children to develop their interest in learning, self-confidence and creativity through play, hands-on experience, exploration, discussion, observation, recording and visits, and to develop their potential and motivation for active learning.
Through continuous observation, documentation and analysis in different learning environments, teachers assess and develop appropriate learning targets and plans for children.
The school will comply with theKindergarten Education Curriculum GuidelinesThe (2017) Planning Curriculum will not require children in nursery classes to write in pen and pencil, nor will they be required to do mechanical transcription or drill-based numeracy exercises.
